Logitech K400 Plus Wireless Touch Keyboard Manual Setup and Review

As a variant of the K400, K400 Plus certainly has a design that is not much different from its predecessor. The K400 Plus carries a compact keyboard on the left and touchpad with separate left and right-click buttons. One thing that distinguishes this device with the K400 is eliminating some shortcut buttons at the top, touchpad with smaller buttons, and additional volume control buttons.

K400 Plus itself is a wireless input device, with a power source of two AA batteries that can last up to 18 months. This device connected to a PC through a Unifying Receiver, a particular receiver from Logitech, allows multiple wireless devices to be connected to one PC with only one receiver. This receiver is small in size and can be stored near the battery compartment when not in use.

Special Control Buttons

Logitech removes some of the shortcut keys on the K400, but they don’t eliminate those buttons. The functions integrated into the function buttons that can be accessed by pressing the corresponding button without the need to press the “FN” button. Also, three additional buttons on this keyboard placed on the touchpad. These three buttons are volume control buttons, mute, volume down, and volume up. Of course, these three buttons will help users to adjust the system volume quickly. However, the addition of these three buttons makes Logitech need to change the touchpad’s position on the K400 Plus. So its position is closer to the bottom of the device, as well as using the smaller left-right click button.
