Logitech MX Ergo Wireless Trackball Review and Manual

For almost a decade, Logitech has now revived the mouse with trackball technology through a product called MX Ergo. According to Logitech, this wireless mouse can offer high comfort and very precise in every move.

The trackball was use before the mouse selected as the main PC control input. Although not as effective as a modern mouse, the advantage of trackball is not to limit space. Because it is very accurate, the trackball is also a favorite type of peripheral for designers. The good news, Logitech is one of the few companies that still produce trackballs for consumers.

Logitech MX Ergo Wireless Trackball Mouse

The MX Ergo was design as an alternative series to the MX Master S2, with many features in common between the two. From back / forward buttons that can be customized, similar design concepts, and support for Logitech multi-computer Flow features.

The difference, MX Ergo relies on a large gray trackball to move the cursor. The trackball is supported by a dedicated button to reduce tracking speed as needed quickly.

Designed for Trackball Lovers

Logitech explained that the MX Ergo was intentionally design for trackball enthusiasts. This mouse carries an ergonomic design to be operated by the right hand. This mouse has two main buttons, a scroll wheel in the middle, followed by a DPI switch button. In addition, all settings and configurations on this mouse can be easily adjusted using the Logitech MX Ergo software that I have provided below.

Even more impressive, the MX Ergo has a hinge to change the position of the mouse to a maximum angle of 20 degrees. This will certainly help users find the most comfortable position so that the wrist does not get tired quickly when working even for long periods.

The Ergo MX is a wireless mouse, can be connected to a laptop via Bluetooth or via a Logitech Unifying Receiver USB dongle. That way, the mouse can be connected to two systems at once. To support productivity, the Ergo MX is also equipped with Logitech Flow technology, allowing us to copy and paste text, images, and files from one PC to another.
